PRIVACY POLICY

Altus Cere — Effective April 15, 2026

This policy explains what information Altus Cere collects when you visit alcidas.xyz or book a discovery call, how that information is used, and your rights regarding it. We have written this to reflect our actual practices — not boilerplate.

1. Who We Are

Altus Cere is a technology company based in Arlington, Texas. We operate the ALCIDAS system — an AI-powered digital operator for independent restaurants. You can reach us through the booking form on this site (see Section 6).

2. Information We Collect

We collect a small, specific set of information — only what is necessary to evaluate whether ALCIDAS is a fit for your restaurant.

Discovery Call Booking Form

When you submit the booking form on this site, we collect:

  • Name — to address you properly during the call.
  • Email address — to send you a calendar invite and call confirmation.
  • Restaurant name — to research your operation before the call.
  • Approximate monthly revenue — used solely to qualify whether ALCIDAS is likely to deliver a meaningful return for your business. This figure is never shared with third parties and is not used for pricing or scoring outside of this internal qualification step.

We do not collect payment information, Social Security numbers, government IDs, or any sensitive personal data through this site.

Operational Audit or Install Data

If you move past a discovery call into an audit, preview, or install, we may ask for business records needed to map the work. Depending on the scope, this can include POS reports, vendor invoices, schedule or payroll exports, bookkeeping categories, current website content, menus, online ordering links, local profile details, and owner-approved vendor or staff contact details.

The exact data request is scoped to the agreed install. We do not need every system in your restaurant to evaluate the first practical workflow.

What We Do Not Ask For or Store

ALCIDAS does not ask for or store customer card numbers, Social Security numbers, full government IDs, staff payment credentials, or unrelated personal records. If a sensitive detail appears inside a file you share, we remove or redact it from the working package when it is not needed for the agreed workflow.

Theme Preference (localStorage)

This site uses your browser's localStorage to remember whether you prefer light or dark mode. This stores a single string value (e.g., "dark") on your own device. It contains no personal data, never leaves your browser, and is not accessible to us or any third party.

3. How We Use Your Information

Information collected through the booking form is used exclusively to:

  • Schedule and confirm your discovery call appointment.
  • Research your restaurant before the call so the conversation is relevant.
  • Determine whether ALCIDAS is a practical fit for your operation.
  • Follow up with you after the call if you have expressed interest in moving forward.

We do not add you to a marketing list, send newsletters, or share your information with advertising networks. If you book a call and we determine ALCIDAS is not a fit, we will tell you so and will not continue to contact you unless you ask us to.

Approvals, Review, and AI Uncertainty

ALCIDAS may draft reports, vendor messages, scheduling reminders, bookkeeping questions, and website or content updates. Owner approval is required before staff decisions, vendor commitments, payments, or public-facing changes are treated as final.

Human reviewers check low-confidence items, unusual invoices, mismatched deposits, unresolved vendor questions, CPA-ready packages, and other financially sensitive work. When the AI is uncertain, the item is flagged, turned into a question, or routed to a reviewer instead of being silently guessed.

4. Third-Party Services

Cal.com (Calendar Scheduling)

Our booking flow uses Cal.com to schedule appointments. When you book a time slot through Cal.com's interface, Cal.com collects your name and email address to create the calendar event and send confirmation emails. Cal.com's own Privacy Policy governs how they handle that data. Cal.com may set cookies in your browser as part of their scheduling interface.

Google Fonts

This site loads typefaces (Cinzel, Space Grotesk, JetBrains Mono) from fonts.googleapis.com. When your browser requests a font file, Google may log your IP address and browser user-agent as part of that request. Google's Privacy Policy and their Google Fonts privacy FAQ describe how this data is handled. We have no control over Google's logging of font requests.

No Analytics or Ad Tracking

This site does not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, HubSpot tracking, Hotjar, or any other behavioral analytics or advertising platform. We do not track your browsing behavior across sites. We do not build advertising profiles. There are no tracking pixels on any page.

5. Data Retention

Information you submit through the booking form is retained in our internal records for as long as it is reasonably needed to manage our business relationship with you — typically no longer than two years from your last interaction with us. If you request deletion of your data (see Section 6), we will remove it promptly unless we are legally required to retain it for a specific period.

Cal.com's retention of your scheduling data is governed by Cal.com's own policy.

6. Your Rights

California Residents (CCPA)

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), California residents have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we have collected about you and how it is used.
  • Request deletion of your personal information.
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. (We do not sell or share personal information with third parties for commercial purposes, so this right is not applicable in our current practices.)
  • Non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights.

Texas Residents

Texas residents have similar rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA), including the right to access, correct, delete, and obtain a portable copy of personal data we hold about you, and the right to opt out of targeted advertising (which we do not conduct).

How to Exercise Your Rights

To make any privacy request — including to access, correct, or delete your data — please book a brief session using the booking form on this site and note in any available field that it is a privacy inquiry, or contact us through that channel and we will respond within 15 business days.

7. Children's Privacy

This site is intended for restaurant owners and operators — adults making business decisions. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 13. If you believe a child has submitted information through this site, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

8. Changes to This Policy

If we materially change our data practices, we will update this page and revise the effective date at the top. We will not retroactively apply material changes to information already collected without providing notice.
